In 2020, Australia has experienced bushfires, floods and now is experiencing COVID-19. Nevertheless, we are staying optimistic and have kept on teaching Chinese lessons faithfully.
Teachers and students of the Chinese school followed a strict hand-washing and disinfection procedure for several weeks to maintain normal teaching and the safety of teachers and students. After several days of discussion, testing, preparation and communication, the classes were officially moved to the online meeting platform ZOOM on March 21 and 22.
With the active cooperation of parents, the children started online learning excitedly and engaged quickly. Parents also have the opportunity to peep part of the class. It can be seen that the children are getting better and better, and the teachers will work harder for the trust and recognition of the parents.
This brutal virus is not going to dampen our students’ love of the Chinese Culture nor their enthusiasm to learn Chinese. Teachers are prepared at all time to listen to the valuable advice from the parents and improve. We hope that we will persist together to complete Term 1 studies successfully.
