As someone who has played almost every Call of Duty title since the franchise began, the AK74 has always been one of my go-to weapons. However, I’ve found myself really frustrated with its current state in Black Ops 6. The recoil is absolutely unbearable, and it’s really detracting from my overall enjoyment of the game.

The AK74 has always been about balancing power and control. It was a great choice for mid-range combat, with just enough recoil to make you feel like you earned your kills. But now, it feels like the recoil is just too much to handle, even with the best attachments. Every time I engage an enemy, I find myself wildly overcompensating just to keep my shots on target.

I’m not the only one experiencing this. I’ve seen so many other players share the same frustration, especially on forums and social media. A lot of people are simply abandoning the AK74 for other weapons that don’t require so much recoil management. The weapon’s power is great, but it’s not worth the constant hassle of trying to control the recoil, especially when other guns are so much more forgiving.

I would love to see the developers address this issue in a patch, maybe by reducing the recoil or making it more consistent. Until then, I’m sticking to other weapons that don’t make me feel like I’m fighting against the gun itself. The AK74 deserves better.
